最近westlife接受celebration的訪問

宣布下一張專輯將會是繼2002 Unbreakable Greatest Hits之後的

第二張 精選集!!

正在英國和愛爾蘭巡迴演唱的shane透露

在今年的十一月計畫發行張精選集

預計有四首新單曲

但歌迷們也別擔心等太久

shane : "我們預計在暑假就發行一張新單曲!"

Mark : "We can't wait!""這將會是我們在十年來第一次在夏天發行新作品 希望歌迷們會去支持"

上個月westlife也換了新公司,從原本Simon的Syco Record

換到同樣是sony子公司的RCA

Nicky在twitter上寫道

Truth is yes we have moved on from Syco records after a fantastic 13 years. But it is
time for a change and it's very exciting.

在Birmingham's LG 的演唱會中

westlife特別感謝RCA給了他們的新的機會

而shane也對舊公司syco發表些評論 :

"我們希望gravity能夠發行第二單曲beautiful tonight,但syco公司不給我們這機會.不過現在,事情已經有了轉變"

Kian最近當起了女子團體wonderland的經紀人

成員中最受矚目的莫過於Kian的老婆Jodi (中間)

而Wonderland也參與了westlife這次的巡演

將在五月發行新專輯

但是十分可惜的

Westlife今年將不發行演唱會DVD

幾個禮拜前nicky在twitter回答歌迷問題表示今年沒有發行DVD的計畫

雖然眾多歌迷發起行動到RCA的twitter和FB請求發行

但是RCA禮拜一仍在twitter表示

To answer Westlife fans, sorry to disappoint but there won't be a tour DVD. We'll keep you posted on release news....Stay tuned!

看來台灣歌迷們是看不到westlife今年的精彩演唱會DVD了: (

不過最近westlife 公司方面透露

接下來的禮拜將會有exciting news!
